My campus, my Home
Sometimes I think, where has the time gone and what has happened to the landscape of the university in that time? For me, as a little child the university seemed to be the biggest playground in the world and now it has become a place for learning and exchange. More than twenty years have passed by but still there is a relationship and an emotional bound with this place, although in another form.

But how has the campus ground changed? And what is still characteristic of the landscape and of university life? First of all, a big area of grassland has been lost because of new buildings. The artificial entities, such as the „Trojanische Pferd“ or the sculpture by the lake are really interesting and fascinating. For me personally, they drape the university ground in colour, so the 70s-style with its dark and dirty green, is beginning to soften. Also, older artificial elements still decorate the campus, for example the helmet on the field near the garage, or the spring with the two fish sculptures.
More stunning for me was the building of the Art faculty as there were two lone stones near the lake and now they are overshadowed by the Art faculty and they have lost their meaning for me. They were once standing there all alone and now they are hidden by this beautiful building. It's sad, but wonderful too. You can see the changes and continuity of life by walking through the university. Sometimes I find it really hard to accept how everything is developing so fast. It’s as if I'm still standing there as a little child, wonder where the time has gone.
